Matt Fitzgerald
Matt Fitzgerald is a certified sports nutritionist, endurance sports coach, and writer. His many books
on diet and nutrition include not only the Racing Weight series but also
Performance Nutrition for Runners,
The New Rules of Marathon and Half-Marathon Nutrition, and
Diet Cults.
Matt has served as a consultant to several sports nutrition companies and has provided guidance on diet and weight
management to a number of world-class endurance athletes. He currently serves as a training intelligence specialist
for PEAR Sports.

Georgie Fear
Georgie Fear is a registered dietitian and professional nutrition coach. A former triathlete and
ultra-runner, she is now focused on helping athletes of all ability and experience levels to achieve their goals through
better nutrition and weight management. An avid cook, Georgie created all of the delicious recipes in
Racing Weight Cookbook.
